The Florida Responsible Vendors Act was establish in 1990. The Law has a few requirements.
All employees Front of the house must attend Alcohol Training with in the first 30 days of employment and then must attend Update meetings 3 Times a year or (every 4 months).
Employees who need to attend are:
All front of the House to include Servers, Bartender, Busser, Barbacks, Front Desk, Bell Staff, Pool/Beach attendant, Roomservice, mini bar attendant, Valet, Package store clerk, Manager's, Department Heads who manage Alcohol, and anyone else who handles, takes, removes alcohol from a table or a room.
It is a Second Degree Misdemeanor to sell alcohol to an underage person up to 60 days in jail and a $500.00 fine.
